Steps to Follow – our Local method.
- Cut your garden eggs (entula) into pieces as you put them in a saucepan – bowl containing water
- Place a clean saucepan on a lit charcoal stove
- Add cooking oil to the saucepan
- Add chopped carrots into the saucepan and leave them tp fry for about 30 seconds
- Add chopped onions to the saucepan and stir evenly
- Add chopped tomatoes to the saucepan and stir evenly cover and leave the tomatoes to boil for about a minute.
- Open and stir untill the tomatoes are ready.
- Add 1/4 cup of to the saucepan with the mixture let it boil as you stir for about a minute.
- Add garden eggs (entula ) to your mixture and then cover it.
- Leave it to boil for 1 minute , open then stir evenly.
- Cover again and boil for about 2-3 minutes , then open and stir.
- Add chopped greenpaper and garlic to your garden eggs (entula) and stir.
- Add 1/2 cup of water , cover and boil for about a minute.
- Open and stir for about a minute.
- Add 1/2 cup of water and cover for 2 minutes , then open and stir.
- Add dissolved royco, curry powder and african spices to your garden eggs (entula) and stir
- Leave the mixture to boil for about 2-3 minutes then remove the saucepan from the charcoal stove
- The sauce is ready to be served.
